Daily winner on our 3rd day of fishing. Proud to be a part of a record setting east coast tournament that caught Billfish with only 30 boats competing. One of the nicest gentlemanly events we fish each year. The tournament Comittee and club volunteers go out of their way to produce a first class event.
Fishing starts on Wednesday and I am told there will be a field of 32 preregistered boats. We have had a nice break but we are all ready to get back at it! Stayed tuned for some fishing reports! Anticipation takes 2nd place in the Virginia Beach Invitational Tournament and also pulled off a daily! On a roll! We made bait at Corbetena and arrived at El Banco around a. We immediately were bit on a live caballito and I hooked up after burning the skin on my thumb by "thumbing" it on the bite. It turned out to be a 40 pound wahoo. Baits went back out and another wahoo bite, but this one didn't hook up.

Each year, South Carolina welcomes some of the most beautiful sport-fishing boats in the world for the annual Governor's Cup Billfishing Series.
