The rear stock has a surface specially made for shooting with a beanbag which is the absolute best way to shoot accurate on extended ranges. The forend is 50 mm longer than a GRS Sporter style stock and has a flat bottom for supporting against bags or front rests. The longer forend also provides a better mounting position for bipods and aids in balancing long and heavy barrels. GRS Hybrid stocks has one quick detachable sling mount and one sling mount in the front stock for using a Harris style bipod.

The surface slides effortlessly over the rear bag during recoil. Our forend on this model is longer than our other GRS stocks, which makes the balance great while shooting with Bipods. When the length between where the rear bag is located and where the point of the bipod is mounted are further apart, a movement of the rear stock will move the point of aim as much on the target than if these surfaces are closer together.
