The source, on the condition of anonymity, said the "government is planning to bring down to zero the country''s avoidable coal import by ". This comes at a time when the country''s coal imports increased marginally by 3. Of the total, MT of fuel was unavoidable import, while the remaining nearly MT is avoidable import, the source said.
