Have to wait a month to get your money after you sell an item. Customer service is just terrible and full of drama. I would go into further detail but I can't waste any more brain cells explaining the actions and endless emails of one of the girls in customer service. This went on for months. I think they are so used to being screwed over by people that they assume everyone is trying to screw them over I purchased two LV bags off this site.

How Tradesy Works

I refuse to pay for a fake knock off bag from Japan. They use their authenticity team which is part of tradesy to identify items being authentic. I will never purchase anything else from this site. They are not honest people and should be shut down. Absolutely worst place to sell!! They hold your money for weeks, then charge a selling fee PLUS a transfer fee!

I sold an item on Nov 2 and have not been paid as of Dec This has happened on both items I sold. NOT a seller friendly site! Not to mention I had to use google to get a contact number to call then had over a 10 minute wait time for an agent.

Horrible site to sell. I wish I had read the reviews before. It's been 3 weeks since I sold and still no money in my account.. Beware beware beware!!!!!!!! And maybe wait longer to release funds.

No reason just holding money. These guys don't know what their are Doing They should go out of business. This site charge so much for selling fees. If you're a buyer and good in finding deals, this site is beneficial. Their customer service support is very weak. After three or four days I started contacting them about not receiving my kit, they did not offer to send another one only give me option of now getting my own box and shipping with their label.

There was no refund to the client who bought my purse and then had to wait an extra week for her purse and did not receive the commercial packaging promised. I sold several LV bags on Tradesy over the years. When I first started it was fabulous.

Things started to change pretty rapidly at a certain point. They increased commission to The last time I sold a bag it took them 23 days to pay me out. That was the end of that. Sellers, if this company goes bankrupt during the time they're withholding your funds you will never see it.

It's highly suspicious that they hold sellers funds for so long. I don't know if they are collecting interest on the funds or using the funds to cashflow the company but it's shady and I refuse to sell with them anymore.

It's been over a year since I last sold with them and I honestly thought there would be a class action lawsuit by now for the amount of time they hold sellers funds. I listed three luxury bags and two pairs of designer shoes.

My least expensive bag sold. A Fendi clutch. I had initially chosen to use their mailer but before confirming the sale I switch to use my own shipping. Because I did not they would not refund the shipping costs. Check this it They were making more on the sale than me.

I called and finally got through. I was promised a PayPal refund of the shipping cost. Of course I got nothing and of course customer service stopped responding! Two actually. The second was useful and got my refund done within minutes. The item has been in the hands of the buyer for over two weeks but I have to wait at least another week to get paid! I'm giving this company an average review. I've bought many wonderful items handbags, sweaters , etc. They also offer Affirm for financing.

I recently started to consign some items and they are selling! The problem is getting paid in a timely fashion. When you click on payouts, it gives you a date and then it begins to drag out to the following week and then another "pending" date. This is unacceptable. Why do they hang on to your money for so long? I also had an issue with a Marc Jacobs wallet that I purchased. The wallet should be tossed out. I sent it back and Tradesy provided a refund and agreed with my assessment.

The following week I noticed that the same old wallet was listed again ; I notified Tradesy and they just shrugged it off.

It has been a great experience selling on Tradesy for us and we believe it will continue to be.

We do agree with most of the complaints here about the fund transfer time frame, returns being sent back to sellers, etc. So now i have to wait 3 to 4 business days to get my money back. Big waste of time and customer service was terrible was on hold for 30 mins just to be told that I will not be shopping here anymore If I could give it negative stars I would.

In it was a pink and rose gold HB. I have a receipt with the number and description of what I ordered. They will keep my money and the bracelet. I emailed and asked for the reason, NEKHOL from tradesy trust team replied that my account was in violation of policy due to selling inauthentic items.
